WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT AND E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT (Eastleigh)
- Two roles available (one Warehouse Assistant, one E-Commerce Assistant - roles are similar and responsibilities overlap)
- Based in our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire
- Working hours - Full time, 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a half hour break.
- Weekend and evening working required during the summer peak period, on a rota basis.
- Receive, check and unpack incoming deliveries, putting items away in the correct locations
- Be trained on and operate warehouse equipment eg scissor lifts and ladders
- Take part in stock take
- Print, process and pack customer orders
- Communicate with customers regarding order queries via phone or email
- Send out orders via post or courier
- Locate and pick products in the warehouse, for them to either be delivered to the shops or for online customer orders
- Liaise with relevant colleagues at head office, or in the shops, regarding specific items, stock levels or queries
- Support new starters and temporary staff with learning the role
- Keep the warehouse and webmail departments clean, tidy and safe
- Complete relevant e-learning courses and follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures
- The two roles and departments are interlinked and we expect our team members to upskill and train in both areas to ensure flexibility and cover during holiday and sickness periods
- Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse / online / web / stock environment
- Able to communicate well and clearly to everyone working with.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with customer enquiries via phone/email (required for E-Commerce Assistant role)
- Can work diligently and enthusiastically as part of a team.
- Able to work under pressure and be flexible.
- Hold problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Able to reasonably commute to our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire.
