CUSTOMER SERVICE / E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT (Eastleigh)
  • Based in our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire.
  • Full time, 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.
  • Weekend and evening working required during the summer peak period, on a rota basis.

    The customer service / E-Commerce assistant reporting to the E-Commerce Manager.
    Providing customer services support via email and phone call, will support the web team by picking and processing customer orders via the website.
    The role is interlinked and will cover some Warehouse duties at times, there will be a requirement to train in the other departments. We will require training in both areas to ensure flexibility and cover during holiday and sickness periods.

    Responsibilities Customer service / E-Commerce assistant:
    • Communicate with customers regarding order queries via phone or email
    • Print, process and pack customer orders
    • Send out orders via post or courier
    • Locate and pick products in the warehouse, for them to either be delivered to the shops or for E-Commerce customer orders
    • Liaise with relevant colleagues at head office, or in the shops, regarding specific items, stock levels or queries
    • Support new starters and temporary staff with learning the role
    • Keep the warehouse and webmail departments clean, tidy and safe
    • Complete relevant e-learning courses and follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures.

    Requirements:
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse / E-Commerce / stock environment
    • Able to communicate well and clearly to everyone you are working with.
    • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with customer enquiries made via phone/email.
    • Can work diligently and enthusiastically as part of a team.
    • Able to work under pressure and be flexible.
    • Have problem-solving and organisational skills.
    • Able to reasonably commute to our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire.

STOCK AND PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR
  • Based in our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire
  • Full time position or part time position (2 positions available)
We have an excellent opportunity for one or two people to join our busy stock control team as a Stock & Purchasing Administrator. The role includes analysing inventory levels, determining reorder levels and raising and completing purchase orders to ensure maximum product availability and minimise inventory costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of the stock control software to highlight and place Internal Sales Orders
  • Maintain the forecasting system to ensure stock items have the forecast, seasonality etc
  • Analyse stock levels and determine reorder levels to ensure maximum product availability and minimise inventory costs
  • To maintain accurate stock item information across a specified branch
  • Identify areas of potential stock outages
  • Work with the Branch Manager to ensure flow of stock to match seasonal needs
  • Ensure internal orders are raised in a timely manner and amend as required
  • Manage branch or web stock queries
  • Work with the Forward order team to place and follow through forward orders with suppliers
  • Raise day to day orders as required
  • To ensure the correct ordering and supply of stock for the company
  • To support the stock team in product price changes throughout the year
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of using a stock control system and understand stock control concepts would be fantastic, however not essential
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical
  • Effective organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Must have excellent communication skills and strong IT skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to build good working relationships with suppliers and staff across the company
STOCK CONTROL MANAGER
  • Based in our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire
  • £32,000 to £35,000, depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Working hours - 40 hours per week, mostly 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with half hour break. Additional hours, including weekend working during the summer on a rota system, will be required as necessary.
As a Stock Control Manager at Skoolkit, you will play a critical role in the effective management and optimisation of our inventory across the whole company during the busy summer period and the more relaxed off-peak time. This role demands a versatile skill set that includes leadership, problem-solving, organisation, and keen attention to detail. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, special order products, from tracking and auditing to maintenance and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team in the management of inventory across multiple locations, define roles to ensure a good workflow and that tasks are balanced between the team.
  • Have leadership qualities to help team success.
  • Maintain the efficacy of the data on the stock control system in relation to what is actually in the branches and warehouse and annual stocktaking.
  • Maintain the production requirements system and help develop stock logistics process where necessary.
  • Use our Demand Prediction application (full training given) to help quickly identify forward order short-falls and determine top-up requirements and minimise stock excesses.
  • Monitor and address day-to-day stock shortages in connection with our production means.
  • Yearly forward order planning for bulk ordering and the consequent annual cost and retail price changes and updates.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of managing a team would be good but also having generally good interpersonal and communication skills to help build strong team.
  • Experience in a stock management role, or similar, would be good but not essential.
  • Previous experience of inventory management/stock control software and other IT software eg MS Office.
  • Be analytical, methodical, disciplined, and be able to maintain attention to detail.
  • Be available to work extended hours from time to time as necessary.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Eastleigh.
EMBROIDERY PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
  • Based in our Eastleigh Head Office and Distribution Centre, Hampshire
  • We are offering 2 part time positions - Hours TBC
  • Saturday working is from January until September; October to December there is no Saturday working, so you will be able to work a weekday instead.
  • No previous experience required!

Due to our continued growth, we have two positions for Embroidery Production Assistants to join our busy in-house embroidery and print team.

As an Embroidery Production Assistant, you would learn the embroidery or heal seal process which includes preparing the garment for embroidery or print, learning how to use the embroidery or heat press machine and packaging the finished garments for the customer. You would also be responsible for ensuring the clothes are to a high standard and keeping the department clean and tidy. The role involves using machines and equipment on workstations at varying heights and carrying boxes of stock to and from the warehouse.

You don't need to have previous experience in embroidery or printing, you just need to be:
  • willing to learn and develop new skills,
  • hard-working and energetic,
  • a fantastic communicator,
  • great at attention to detail, and
  • eligible to work in the UK.
